New York Senior US Senator, Chuck Schumer’s absurd demands, to give illegal aliens more money that our military caused the government shutdown that shook the nation.
This shutdown was cleared up when he backed down after acting all tough and standing up for the “Dreamers”.
What he pulled was an embarrassment  to himself and his party, and now he receives his well deserved punishment after someone or rather someones just stormed in his house in  New York.
Looks like he who laughs last laughs best, and that seems to be President Trump.
According to a report from the Washington PostIn the hours after U.S. senators struck a deal to end the government shutdown Monday, scores gathered near the U.S. Capitol to protest what they saw as the Democrats’ decision to abandon the “dreamers,” young undocumented immigrants who were brought to the United States illegally as children or overstayed their visas.
One by one, the demonstrators called out the names of Democrats who voted with Republicans to end the shutdown, shouting, “Shame!” On Tuesday, a group of about 100 protesters gathered again, rallying in Upper Senate Park and then heading to lawmakers’ offices to demand the vote on immigration legislation that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has vaguely promised.
The protests carried on and even made a stop down the street in New York where Schumer is residing. They are revolted and rightly so, since he gave them hope promising to give them what they want, only to cave in the end and back down on that promise.
In fact they are parading in front of his house, showing him the reason why Trump has been so strict on immigration, proving that they are not here to work, but leech on our hard-working taxpayers’ money.
Reportedly, Breitbart documented the whole event when the so-called “Dreamers” barged in on Schumer’s personal residence. Looks  like he witnessed the threat they pose with his own eyes. Karma works in mysterious ways.
The Post’s report stated: Walter Barrientos, of the immigrant rights organization Make the Road New York, said his group and those aligned with it have sponsored actions in New York as well as in downtown Washington, holding rallies and vigils in Manhattan and at the home of Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.), who led the shutdown effort but then backed down over the weekend.
“Dreamers” and their advocates gather near the U.S. Capitol on Monday to declare their frustration at the reopening of the federal government without protections for immigrants. “We are planning on being relentless in our pressure for the next two weeks,” Barrientos said. “We can’t allow him to fail us again.”
As the Washington Post wrote, immigrant and their advocates have protested,  flooded congressional offices and been arrested in acts of civil disobedience, ever since the President’s administration announced that it will cut off  the DACA program back in September.
They were supported by State Democrats who forced a government shutdown last week under the leadership of Senator Schumer.
Nevertheless, after a weekend when Republicans put into perspective that Democrat had prioritized illegal immigrants over American citizens,” they realized that this position can bring them more harm than good in the upcoming elections.
So they accepted a deal which they previously passed and agreed to reopen the government under the condition that the immigration legislation is considered in the near future.
However what that legislation will say is still up to a debate. Even if a bill that will allow “Dreamers” to obtain citizenship passes the Senate it’s very unlikely that it will go through the House.
Cristina Jiménez, executive director and co-founder of United We Dream, said on Monday : “Senators who voted today for the promise of a symbolic vote on the Dream Act are not resisting Trump — they are enablers,” adding “Republicans played games too, holding the Dream Act hostage and pitted the safety of immigrant youth against children’s health care, proving their cruelty to the world.”
Schumer should act what he is preaching and invite these Dreamers in front of his house, in. If they are good enough for the U.S. they are good enough for his home.
